WELDING & ASSEMBLIES
A good assembly starts before the first weld. The parts have to fit, the connections need to be accessible, and the finished geometry has to meet the requirements of the job.
PTB works with customers on fabricated tube and metal assemblies from first article through production. Bring the full assembly into the conversation, including the material, mating components, weld requirements and the dimensions that control fit.
If the drawing specifies a welding method, inspection, appearance or documentation, include it with the RFQ. We'll confirm the process and manufacturing route before quoting. Don't assume the same method suits every joint or material.
Bending, cutting, fit-up and finishing all affect the finished result. Reviewing them together gives us a clearer starting point for a repeatable part.

PLAN THE JOINT AND THE FIXTURE
Fixture planning starts with the features that control the assembly. Joint access, part location and the welding sequence all affect how components come together. Show the finished assembly, identify critical mating points and specify the weld requirements for review.
